GENERAL QUESTIONS:

When should I start dress shopping?

We recommend you start shopping 9-12 months before your wedding date. This ensures you have more than enough time to shop around, try different styles and won’t feel rushed to make an incredibly special decision. The best time to place your bridal order is 8-10 months ahead of your wedding date. Your dress will take an average of 5 months to be made, and you should allow 8 - 12 weeks for any minor alterations required.

Don’t worry if you have less time, all of our designers offer a ‘priority order’ service where some dresses can be made and delivered in as little as 8 weeks for a small additional fee. We will do everything we can to accommodate your timeline, get in touch and we can talk you through your options.

What’s the price range of your collection?

Our hand picked collection of dresses and separates range from £2,500 - £9500 with the majority of dresses falling between £3000 - £4000. You can browse our beautiful designers here.

What sizes are available to try?

The majority of samples in the studio range from UK 10 – 14. Don’t worry if your sizing doesn’t sit within this range, we have lots of creative ways to ensure you can experience the look of your desired dress. We’re also able to loan additional sizes from our designers prior to your appointment if needed. For ordering, our designers can accommodate any size, most even offering split sizing to achieve a closer fit and minimise alteration requirements.

Where are you located and is there free parking available?

We are perfectly located in the heart of the Midlands, within easy reach of the M42 / M6 & M5. Amare is based in the idyllic and tranquil setting of Coppice Lifestyle in Middleton, near Sutton Coldfield. Nestled in the beautiful rural countryside, comprising a community of luxury independent home and lifestyle shops, restaurant, butchery-deli-bakery, art gallery, hair salon, spa and garden nursery. There is also plenty of free parking at Coppice Lifestyle for you and your guests.

Do you have disabled access?

We absolutely do, we can also provide a home appointment service in special circumstances where we can bring the Amare experience to you. Please enquire for further details.

Do you sell veils and accessories?

Of course! We love nothing more than helping our brides pull the whole look together under one roof. We carry a wide range of veils, capes & wings. We offer an amazing handmade collection of earrings and veils from A.B.Ellie I HDWR and our bridal jewellery edit designed by the wonderful V by Laura Vann.

Are there shoes available to try with dresses?

We are proud to have a beautiful partnership with Jimmy Choo which enables us to showcase some of the most iconic heels fit for the modern bride here at Amare.

If fate should so have it that you fall in love with a pair of Jimmy Choos, or you wish to explore more of their bridal collection we can arrange for a complimentary personal fitting to take place at our studio with one of the trusted stylists from the brand. This service is exclusively for Amare brides. Please ask for details. 

What is a Trunk Show?

A trunk show is an event held for a limited period of time for brides to try additional styles from a particular designer outside of our own permanent edit. This often includes the entire latest collection. Appointments for Trunk Shows are limited so we would encourage you to book early to secure your place. Visit our Trunk Show events.

If I find ‘the one’ what are the next steps?

If you find your dream bridal look with Amare, first we toast - welcome to the family.

To confirm your order a 50% non-refundable deposit is paid. The remaining balance is due 12 weeks before your wedding date. We then book your dress collection appointment where you will try your dress on for the first time and we can enjoy another toast together. Finally you will then take your dress to your chosen seamstress. When you know the ETA of your dress we advise booking your alternation appointments as far in advance as possible.

Do you offer alterations?

We don’t, however we have an extensive list of highly recommended seamstresses both local to the studio and nationwide for brides that have travelled to us and would prefer a seamstress closer to home. Your chosen seamstress will make your final alterations to ensure your dress fits to perfection. 

Do you offer a dry cleaning service?

We are delighted to offer a dry cleaning & boxing service for all of our brides. The service includes home collection, your gown professionally dry cleaned and displayed in a beautiful handmade box, and its safe return back to you. Please get in touch so we can provide a quote and make the arrangements for you.

 

 

 

APPOINTMENT QUESTIONS:

Do I need to book an appointment?

To ensure your one-to-one styling session is exclusive and personal, we ask that you make an appointment. This way we can get to know you and understand your style. If an appointment is needed outside of our opening hours, please just ask. We will always do our best to accommodate.

Do you charge for appointments?

We charge a non-refundable £40 for your initial fitting appointment. Any return appointments or accessory / styling appointments are complimentary. We kindly ask that if you are unable to make your appointment you do your best to give us 48 hours’ notice so we can give your appointment to a fellow bride-to-be.

How long are appointments?

Your personalised fitting will run for approx 1.5 hours. If we need more time we can book extended appointments or return appointments. Our promise is that you will never feel rushed. 

How many guests can I invite?

This is your moment and your entourage should be your closest loved ones that know you and your style best – we are here to celebrate you, making a once in a lifetime decision. Ideally invite up to 3 guests to join you during this memorable experience. Everyone else can wait for the big reveal.

What should I bring with me?

Just your beautiful self and chosen entourage. Wear comfortable underwear (preferably nude). A few days before your appointment we will send an email with everything you need to know, including tips on how to prepare with regards to make-up/ fake tan/ underwear etc. 

What can I expect at my appointment?

Prior to your first appointment we will have spent time talking to you about your style and vision for your wedding day. We care deeply about creating a relationship and getting to know our brides, making your experience memorable and magical. 

Your styling session will begin by us guiding you through the whole collection, you can then select all the pieces you would like to try whilst we prepare some celebratory drinks. We are here to guide and support you on your bridal journey and help you find an outfit that is undeniably you. This is your time to explore, have fun and feel special.
